Music in Our Life

I love music, I think people can not live without it. The first thing I do in the morning I switch on my tape — recorder.

We can hear music everywhere: in the streets, in the shops, on TV, over the radio, in the cars, in the parks, everywhere. I think it's really doesn't matter what kind of music you prefer: rock, pop, classical, jazz. A lot of people are fond of music. They buy tapes, go to the concerts, visit Concert Halls and Opera Theatres.

I enjoy listening music because it reflects my moods and emotions. Very often when I'm blue, I play my favourite merry songs and feel much better.

«The Olympic Games»

↗The first Olympic Games took place in Greece more than six hundred years ago. They had competitions not only in sports but in music, speaking and theatre performances as well. Only men could take part in them, but not women.

↗Then for one thousand and five hundred years nothing was heard of them. The modern Olympic Games began again in 1896 and nine countries took part in them. The Olympics took place in Greece, but after that every four years the Olympics moved to another city.

↗The Olympic Games take place every four years. During the two world wars, there were no Olympic Games because they couldn’t take place in a country which is at war. During the Olympic Games, there are competitions in many kinds of sports like running, jumping, swimming, athletics and others.

Казка про пасивний стан в ENGLISH.

   Жили-були активні форми дієслів.  День і ніч трудились вони, щоб побудувати пристойний дім: самі носили будівельні матеріали, пиляли,рубали,місили, конструювали, співали, танцювали, спілкувались і відпочивали. Їм знадобилось близько 15 століть , щоб виріс чотириповерховий будинок з чотирма під’їздами, шістнадцятьма розкішними квартирами. І назвали вони свій дім «The Active Voice. Активний стан». А в цей час пасивні форми дієслів лише спостерігали за будівництвом,  але , зрозумівши, що їм теж десь потрібно жити, не заважали. Вони давали можливість іншим виконувати роботу, їх  не завжди й цікавило кому саме, був би результат. Ліниві були неймовірно, їх підмети були вкрай пасивні, тому й табличку зі зворотного боку будинку вивісили : «The Passive Voice. Пасивний Стан».
