My winter holidays 

                      

This year my winter holidays started at the end of December. They lasted till the middle of January and I enjoyed this long period of rest very much. First and foremost, because of the events that happened during the holidays.    So it all started with an unexpected invitation from my cousins to celebrate Christmas at their place. My mother always used to say that Christmas was a very cosy and family holiday, so we never went anywhere. For as long as I can remember, we celebrated this merry holiday at home.    However, this year we decided to break our own rules and enjoy the celebration in the huge company of relatives and friends, and friends of friends. There were so many people, I'd never seen in one house at once. Even the biting weather didn't stop people from coming.    It was a cheerful and festive evening. But an even bigger surprise awaited me later. It appeared that my parents decided to surprise me with a New Year's trip to the Carpathian mountains. It was my dream to see the mountains in winter and try all the winter activities, so it came true!    I cannot explain how eager, energetic, and happy I was! We did all the possible things, including skiing, ice skating, sleighing and even snowball fighting. That trip was the happiest in my life. When we came back, I started to have meetings and small celebrations with all of my friends. We hadn't seen each other for several weeks so I had so much to tell them!    To sum everything up, I loved my winter holidays. This year was full of surprises and each event became so memorable. Цього року мої зимові канікули розпочалися наприкінці грудня. Вони тривали до середини січня, і мені дуже сподобався цей довгий період відпочинку. Перш за все, через події, що відбувалися під час свят.    Отже, все почалося з несподіваного запрошення від моїх двоюрідних братів і сестер відсвяткувати Різдво у них вдома. Моя мама завжди казала, що Різдво — це дуже затишне та сімейне свято, тому ми нікуди не їздили. Скільки себе пам'ятаю, ми святкували це веселе свято вдома.    Однак цього року ми вирішили порушити власні правила та насолодитися святкуванням у величезній компанії родичів, друзів та друзів друзів. Було так багато людей, що я ніколи не бачила їх одночасно в одному будинку. Навіть різка погода не завадила людям приходити.    Це був веселий та святковий вечір. Але пізніше на мене чекав ще більший сюрприз. Виявилося, що мої батьки вирішили здивувати мене новорічною поїздкою в Карпати. Я мріяла побачити гори взимку та спробувати всі зимові розваги, тож вона здійснилася!    Не можу пояснити, наскільки я була сповнена нетерпіння, енергійна та щаслива! Ми займалися всім, що тільки можна було, зокрема каталися на лижах, ковзанах, санчатах і навіть билися сніжками. Та поїздка була найщасливішою в моєму житті. Коли ми повернулися, я почав влаштовувати зустрічі та невеликі святкування з усіма своїми друзями. Ми не бачилися кілька тижнів, тому мені було так багато чого їм розповісти!   Підсумовуючи все, я обожнював свої зимові канікули. Цей рік був сповнений сюрпризів, і кожна подія стала такою незабутньою. Хотів би я, щоб мої наступні канікули були такими ж!
